We will kick off each morning with a dynamic 'warm up' yoga session, followed by breakfast and a briefing, before heading out on a guided ride. Each day will involve around 4 hours of cycling on routes tailored to the group's overall level of experience and fitness. You can expect a choice of of two rides; one longer (approx. 50 miles), and one shorter (approx. 30 miles). Post-ride, we will re-group for refreshment, ending each day with a 'rest and recover' yoga session. On Saturday evening, the final yoga session will be followed by a casual supper, giving everyone ample time to unwind and socialise.

The Riding

Our routes are designed to offer you the chance to challenge yourself, and enjoy the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. As a minimum, you should be able to comfortably ride for approximately 20-25 miles without stopping. Experience of group riding is not essential.

Ride speeds will vary, depending on the needs of the group as a whole. Riders that want to push the pace will take a longer route guided by Arran. Those after a more leisurely ride will take a shorter route guided by Becci. We want you to have the best weekend of cycling possible, this means that no one will be left behind, or made to feel like they are holding up the group.

If you have any questions about the required level of fitness, or are unsure about what to expect, get in touch. We love to chat.

The Yoga

Many people think yoga is just about getting flexible, but it is also about getting strong. For cyclists, this means stretching over-developed quads and glutes (thighs and bums!) and strengthening comparatively underdeveloped lower backs, abdominal muscles and hip flexors. These beginner-friendly sessions will introduce you to the ways yoga can be beneficial both on, and off, the bike. No prior experience of yoga required.

If you’d like a sneak peak of what you can look forward to, watch Becci’s 15 minute yoga sequence for cyclists.
